Glen Park
Glen Park is a vibrant and verdant neighborhood that borders Diamond Heights to the northwest, along Diamond Heights Boulevard; Noe Valley to the north, along 30th Street; Bernal Heights to the east, along San Jose Avenue and Outer Mission to the south, along Bosworth Street. The village of Glen Park boasts popular amenities including Canyon Market, Destination Bakery, Gialina Pizzeria, Perch gifts and a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, hair salons, a contemporary public library and hardware store. With a BART station, a J-Church stop and easy freeway access to both 280 and 101, Glen Park is a transportation hub. Glen Canyon Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in San Francisco including a renovated recreation center, tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds, hiking trails and home to many animals including roosting owls and the upper Islais Creek, historically the largest creek in San Francisco which still flows above ground through Glen Canyon from the southern slopes of Twin Peaks.
